Bled Castle

Bled Castle is located on a cliff above Lake Bled and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. There is a pleasant path leading to the castle, which allows you to walk up the steps in the countryside before reaching the castle itself.

It was raining when we were there, which might have put some people off, but we didn’t mind at all. On the contrary – thanks to the rain there were fewer people than usual and the atmosphere was calmer. At the same time, you can learn about the history or take away an unexpected souvenir in the form of honey, which is also nice.
