Place description

Broumov is a town at the foot of the Broumov Walls. The town is especially famous for the Broumov Monastery, a large Baroque complex with a rich history. The UNESCO-listed monastery offers a tour of the impressive basilica, the library with its unique collections and the monastery gardens with their enchanting atmosphere.

Apart from the monastery, Broumov attracts visitors with other sights such as the Baroque town hall, St. Procopius Church with its Renaissance bell tower and the picturesque historical centre. The Museum of Broumov is also worth a visit, where you can learn about the history and culture of the region. Fans of hiking and cycling will love the surrounding landscape of Broumov with its typical conical hills, as well as the nearby Teplice or Adršpach Rocks.
