Drábské světničky

In the protected landscape area of the Bohemian Paradise we can find many gems. One of them is undoubtedly the ruins of the Drábské světničky rock castle, which is part of the Příhrazské skály rocks and which lies at the crossroads of several hiking trails. There are several paths to Drábské světničky, the “more pleasant” one, basically without a climb, leads here from Krásná vyhlídka, where you can have a snack and park, and for connoisseurs we recommend the blue trail from Dneboh.

From Drábské světničky there are especially great views of the surroundings, the rock town, from where the best views are, can be reached in the period from April to October, admission is free. Studený průchod (the Cold Passage) is worth a visit in the vicinity of the lighthouses, where you can really cool off, especially in the summer months. We recommend visiting the area around the Příhrazské skály rocks on weekdays or in bad weather – otherwise they are very popular places and the amount of people is sometimes a bit of a detriment.
