These four wonderful streets follow one another from the Prinzipalmarkt with St. Lamberti Church, along the Kiepenkerl Christmas Market, all the way to the Giebelhüüskesmarkt. The beautifully illuminated gabled houses with arcades create a truly magical Christmas fairytale atmosphere.

For the best Christmas ideas, decorations, and gifts, don’t forget to visit Glashaus Geschenke, offering a modern and chic selection. At the House of Villeroy & Boch, you can buy beautiful fine traditional porcelain. Another traditional Westphalian shop, Westfalenstoffe, offers a wide range of fabrics and decorations. Modern Scandinavian-style decorations can be found at Das Schönwerk. At the end of Spiekerhof, on Rosenstraße, you’ll find Grün & Form, a unique shop featuring natural (and not only Christmas) decorations.

Of course, there are many more shops along these streets, all wonderfully decorated for Christmas. The culinary offerings are just as delightful — from cozy restaurants to charming coffee bars.

During your walk, you’ll cross the small Aa brook (what a funny name, isn’t it?), which creates some stunning little corners as it winds its way through the city. And if you take a moment to look around carefully, you’ll notice beautiful details — like the sculpture of Saint Nicholas in Boggenstraße.
