Every year before Christmas, the charming village of Handorf, part of Münster, transforms into a festive wonderland with its traditional Krippenweg – a exposition celebrating the story of Christmas.
The exhibiotion is situated around St. Petronilla Church in Handorf, visitors can admire dozens of beautifully crafted nativity scenes in all shapes, sizes, and artistic styles. Some are tiny, showing only the Holy Family, while others are elaborate and detailed – but all are lovingly made and bring a warm festive spirit. The nativity scenes are illuminated until 9 p.m., creating a truly magical atmosphere.
