Place description

The Miradouro do Juncal viewpoint is just 300 metres from the Pico do Arieiro car park and offers beautiful views. Be sure to combine a visit to this viewpoint with a visit to Pico do Arieiro. We also went here for the sunrise and definitely recommend it. The views of the surrounding area are spectacular, but it depends on the weather. If it’s foggy and lots of clouds, you’ll see almost nothing from here except clouds, so check the weather forecast before you go here.
