Noto is a picturesque historic town in eastern Sicily, popular for its baroque architecture and rich history. It is located in the province of Syracuse and is approximately 15 minutes drive from the sea. The town is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architecture and historical value.
One of the most striking features in Noto are its Baroque monuments, which were built after the devastating earthquake of 1693. Among the main monuments are the Cathedral of San Nicolò, the Church of San Domenico and the Nicolaci Palace, which is famous for its baroque balconies decorated with statues.
A stroll through the centre of Noto is sure to impress. The narrow streets, stone houses and picturesque squares will immerse you in the atmosphere of past centuries. The town’s main square is the Piazza del Municipio, surrounded by elegant buildings and the centre of town life. In addition to its architecture and culture, Noto is also known for its gastronomic scene. The local cuisine offers a wide range of regional specialities, including Sicilian pasta, seafood and wine from the surrounding vineyards.
Noto is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and interesting places in Sicily, attracting visitors with its rich history, beautiful architecture and mysterious atmosphere. The city is more inland, so you will have the sea further away. However, you can easily get by car or bus to Lido di Noto, a beautiful beach where swimming and water sports are sure to be enjoyed to the full.

Restaurace, neboli bistro se nachází na hlavní promenádě no zároveň táto prodejna není vůbec turistickou atrakcí a proto vřele doporučujeme navštívit! Produkty jsou čerstvé, dobré a chutné. Ideální pro rychlý polední oběd, nebo večeru za rozumné ceny. Výborné drinky, víno a skvělé sendviče od výmyslu světa. My můžeme taky doporučit skvělé saláty a výborný olivový olej.

Centrální parkování v městečku Noto. Velké vyhrazené parkování s místy označenými modrou barvou. Dá se parkovat i na ulici před parkovištěm, takže je na vás co si vyberete. Je odsud blízko k všem atrakcím a centru města. První hodina stojí 2 eura, od druhé pak platíte po 15 minutách. My jsme za 3 hodiny platili 4 eura. V automatu u vchodu můžete platit v hotovosti, debetní kartou nebo aplikací easypark.
