This forest park is located in the town of Santana. It is an ideal place for nature watching and you can also have a picnic.

The Parque Florestal das Queimadas is the starting point for many walks and trails that lead to various places on the island, especially the Levada Caldeirão Verde and the walking trail that gives access to Pico das Pedras.

The Queimadas house retains the original features of the old Santana houses, such as the typical thatched roof.
