Place description

Preikestolen, also known as the Pulpit, is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Norway. Located near the city of Stavanger, it is a huge rock platform 604 metres above sea level that offers breathtaking views of the Lysefjord.

Why come here? For an unforgettable experience and breathtaking photographs. A trip to Preikestolen is ideal for nature lovers and hikers. The hike to the top takes approximately 4 hours and is suitable for all ages.

The best time to visit is from April to October, when travel is most feasible.

Parking is available at the Preikestolen Fjellstue car park, which is the starting point of the climb. The parking fee is around NOK 200 per day. Although there are rest areas and toilets along the route, be sure to take plenty of water and snacks.

Parkoviště speciálně pro Preikestolen je ideální volbou pro ty, kdo plánují návštěvu této atrakce. Je umístěno přímo u výchozího bodu výstupu a nabízí dostatek prostoru pro osobní automobily i obytné vozy. Přes noc zde ovšem parkovat nelze. Parkování je zde možné pouze na celý den za poplatek 200 NOK. I když je tohle parkoviště placené, doporučujeme zaparkovat právě tady pokud jste se rozhodli pro návštěvu Preikestolen.
