Visitors can send Christmas cards from the world’s northernmost post office, meet Santa in person or enjoy a walk in the snowy landscape. Near Rovaniemi there is also the opportunity to see the Northern Lights – this amazing natural phenomenon.

We mainly explored the city center and even though we were here more than 2 months after Christmas, we still had a festive atmosphere.
