Place description

The Na Vrchovnici viewpoint, located near the village of Blažim near Neveklov, offers one of the most beautiful views of the Vltava River and the Old Živohošt’ and Živohošt’ Bridge. From the viewpoint you can also see the surrounding hills such as Kočičí vrch, Tetřevník, Besedná, Ostrý and Spálený. The way to the viewpoint is mostly through the forest and it is best to start from the village of Blažim. Either follow the yellow hiking trail, which then follows the green trail to the viewpoint or choose the forest path from the same village, which is slightly shorter. Ideally, however, you should choose the circuit, which is slightly over 5 kilometres with an elevation gain of 180 metres.

This route is ideal for nature lovers and hikers who want to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and beautiful views of the Czech countryside.
