Originally built in 1898 as the Germania Brewery, this historic site has seen many transformations—from a thriving brewery to a leisure complex, and finally to today’s vibrant Germania Campus. Opened in 2009, the campus combines modern living, workspaces, health and leisure facilities, and a rich culinary scene, all while preserving parts of the original brewery architecture. At its heart lies the charming Zaubersee, a small lake that becomes the centerpiece of winter celebration.
During the holiday season, Germania Campus turns into a sparkling winter wonderland. Twinkling lights and nice decorations create a magical Christmas atmosphere, and a large ice rink is set up at the center where visitors can rent skates and glide across the ice. At the rink, cozy stalls serve traditional treats, mulled wine, and hot drinks.
