Bled is a beautiful town located on the lake of the same name. Lake Bled is one of the most beautiful and most visited places in Slovenia. This glacial lake is surrounded by alpine peaks and offers crystal clear water, which reflects the island with the Church of Our Lady. It is the lake’s and the town’s greatest landmark that makes this place truly special.
Visitors can explore the lake on traditional boats called pletny or enjoy walks on the paths around the lake. On a cliff above the lake, Bled Castle offers breathtaking views and the opportunity to explore the history of the area. Lake Bled is an ideal place for relaxing, hiking and admiring the natural beauty. It is also a great starting point for trips to the Triglav area.
