Boranup Karri Forest Viewpoint is a stunning lookout in South West Australia, located in Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, about 25 kilometers south of the town of Margaret River. This breathtaking view offers visitors a chance to admire the vast karri forests, which are among the tallest trees in the world, reaching heights of up to 60 meters.
The viewpoint is located along Caves Road, one of the most scenic drives in the region. Upon arrival, you’ll be amazed by the endless green canopy stretching to the horizon. The light filtering through the tall eucalyptus trees creates a magical atmosphere, perfect for photography or relaxing in the silence of nature.
Boranup Karri Forest is not only a wonderful place to stop but also a great starting point for hiking and adventure. There are several hiking trails in the area that lead you through the dense forest, allowing you to spot local wildlife, including parrots, kangaroos, and other typical Australian animals.
Note: The best photos from this spot are taken from the winding road, but cars still drive here, so please be careful.
