Černá Smědá is a small lake near Smědava, which you can come across on the way to the highest mountain of the Jizera Mountains, Smrk, or on the way to the Paličník lookout point. It is a small lake with a stream Černý potok flowing through it, which serves mainly as a tourist crossroads, and even in winter months for cross-country skiers.

The lake as such is not really worth a visit, but it is a very nice stop on the way around the area.
