The Church of the Assumption (known also as Church of the Mother of God) on an island in the middle of Lake Bled is probably the most famous place in Slovenia. You can take a walk along the path around the lake or rent a boat and sail directly to the church. The interesting thing is that when you hear the bells, it is not to announce the time, but as an attraction for visitors to the church who can ring the bells themselves.
In summer, you can have ice cream or something to eat and drink on the island. You should definitely not miss this place when visiting Bled.
