Former tin mine Rolava

I have been planning to visit the former tin mine Rolava for a long time. I’m always fascinated by places that are mysterious. If you are also attracted by it, take a walk or fly with a drone. The place has been decaying for decades, nature plays with it beautifully. From up high, it’s all the more beautiful to see how the trees surround the complex.

Everything here is at your own risk, as there are no beautiful staircases or sleek walkways to climb through the entire complex. Despite this, we met many people with dogs or children, even a stroller. I wouldn’t recommend climbing the crumbling building to them, though.

Nearby is also Rolavský pond, where it is great to end the whole adventure. There is a relatively normal road leading to it. Only if you come here after rain, expect puddles and mud.
