Place description

The Humprecht hunting castle towers over the village of Sobotka in the Jičín district. It is a baroque building from the 1760s, which attracts many visitors from all over the Czech Republic. A well-marked path (blue trail) leads to the castle around the cemetery, after which you will see Humprecht in its full beauty among the leafy trees.

Opening hours

The chateau is open for tours from April to October (more detailed and up-to-date information can be found on the official website of the chateau). In the other months it is worth visiting at least the forest park around the castle.

Admission and tours

Adults – 90 CZK
Children from 6 years old, students and pensioners – 50 CZK
Children under 6 years – free of charge
Family admission (2 adults, 2 – 3 children) – 250 CZK
