Janova vyhlídka (Jan’s Viewpoint) is one of the rocks of the very popular Hruboskalsko area. It is a rock complex in the Bohemian Paradise, which is crossed by several hiking trails headed by the red marked Golden Trail of the Bohemian Paradise. From there, at the U Kavčin crossroads, you can head off onto the blue trail, the Angrove Trail, which also leads through Janova vyhlídka. It offers a beautiful view of the surrounding rocks, such as Čertova ruka (Devil’s Hand) or the Lighthouse. If you take the yellow hiking trail leading under the rocks to the Janova vyhlídka, be ready for a more difficult climb.
There are more viepoints in Hruboskalsko, not only Janova vyhlídka, that are worth visiting – Mariánská or Zámecká vyhlídka with a view of the Hrubá Skála Castle. We are also planning to see them during our next visit to Český ráj.
