Park Grébovka

Grébovka, also known as Havlíčkovy sady, is a popular park in the middle of Prague’s Vinohrady district, offering beautiful nature, views of Prague and several interesting buildings. The park was built between 1871 and 1888 by Moritz Gröbe, a well-known industrialist at the time.

There are several attractions in the park, such as a fountain, a small lake and the Grotto, an artificial cave that has several floors, the highest of which is accessible from U Havlíčkových sadů Street. This in particular is a truly magical place, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. In addition to the aforementioned Grébovka Park, you will also find the Vineyard Gazebo or the lookout point, from where you can see the Nusel Bridge, Nusle and the adjacent vineyard.

Grébovka is not only a popular destination for short walks or sunset views, but also a frequent venue for various events such as wine and food festivals. Visitors also often organize picnics here, the place simply encourages it.
