The Korunka lookout tower is a 30-metre high structure near the village of Černolice, which offers beautiful views of the Berounka River, and also of the Cukrák transmitter and even a large part of Prague. In case of good visibility, you can see the outskirts of Prague, and if you’re lucky, you can see as far as the city centre. The lookout tower, which stands at the top of Červená hlína mountain, is freely accessible from 1 April to 31 October.
There are exactly 118 steps to the top of the tower and if you suffer from vertigo, this may not be the right tower for you – on the way up and at the top you can see the void below you through the metal structure. However, we think the views from the tower are worth even a little vertigo. We also recommend visiting the Černolice Rocks and the Hvíždinec lookout point.
We’ll be happy to create a personalized itinerary.
There is a self-service fridge with drinks and snacks under the tower, for which you can pay in cash by dropping money into the cash box.
