Procida is a small, quiet island just outside Naples, known for its colourful houses, romantic streets and pleasant, authentic atmosphere. Compared to the more famous Ischia or Capri, it’s less touristy, and that’s what makes it the perfect place for a day trip.
The island can be comfortably covered on foot in one day. Here you will find beautiful beaches, natural coves, places with sea views and the pastel-coloured houses of Marina Corricella, the most photogenic part of the island. The Terra Murata lookout point is also worth a visit, as is the natural Vivara Bridge, which connects the two parts of the island and offers spectacular views.
Procida is perfect for slow wandering, taking photos and relaxing by the sea. Ideal for those who want to escape the crowds for a while.
