Ross Graham Lookout

The Ross Graham Lookout is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Kalbarri National Park, named after a local teacher and avid nature enthusiast who was instrumental in popularizing the area.

From the car park, a short, easy path leads to a viewing platform where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Murchison River, which flows through a deep sandstone canyon. If you fancy a little adventure, you can walk down closer to the river and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere among the rock formations where birds and other wildlife often stop. The trail is a little more challenging on the rocks, but according to the signs it’s 150 metres – we think it’s further, but you’re still down in no time. We were lucky enough to see a few small kangaroos down by the water, which we were a short distance away from.
