The Sychrov viaduct, which towers over the Mohelka River, was built during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, specifically in 1857 – 1859. The two-storey bridge, 32 metres high and 11 metres wide, can be found in a quiet part of the Liberec Region, about 18 km south of Liberec.
Not far from the viaduct you will find perhaps a little more famous Sychrov Castle.
We’ll be happy to create a personalized itinerary.
If you don’t take the train to the viaduct but drive, you can reach the bridge by a dirt road starting from the edge of the village of Třtí, which you can reach after a few hundred metres, when you pass the bridge on the right side.
