Place description

The ruins of the rock Vranov Castle, also known as the Pantheon, are situated on a rock above the Jizera River in the village of Malá Skála in northern Bohemia. The castle was founded on this site at the beginning of the 15th century. In the vicinity of the castle it is also worth visiting the viewpoint above Malá Skála or the Golden Trail of the Bohemian Paradise.

Opening hours and entrance fees

The Vranov Castle is open to the public from March to November; you can always find up-to-date information on the official website. The entrance fee for the whole family (2+2) is 100 CZK, adults alone will pay 50 CZK and children 30 CZK.

Parking

Parking is available at the Maloskalsko Information Centre for an affordable 50 CZK for the whole day. There is also a good pizzeria Pietro Tomasso near the parking lot, which we recommend.
