The Troll Museum in Tromsø is a museum focusing on Norwegian folklore, mythology and the mysterious world of trolls. Located in the city centre, it offers interactive exhibitions that immerse visitors in the world of Norse legends. Using modern technologies such as augmented reality (AR), you can see trolls in their natural habitat and learn more about their origins and importance in Norwegian culture. The museum connects fairy tales with science, explaining, for example, how natural phenomena such as the Northern Lights or oddly shaped mountains may have inspired the creation of the myths about these creatures.

A visit to the museum is a great experience especially for children, but also for adults who want to immerse themselves in the magical world of Norwegian legends. In addition to digital installations and fairy tale illustrations, you will also find historical artefacts and literature about Norwegian folklore. The combination of educational content and playful interactivity makes the Troll Museum the ideal place for anyone who wants to discover the magical side of Norway and its mysterious legends.
