Vestecký rybník (pond)

Just outside the village of Vestec, west of Prague, is the Vestecký Rybník (Vestec Pond), which is an ideal place for a short and easy walk. In the vicinity of the pond there are two outdoor gyms, a dog exercise area and a planetary trail. There are also several bicycle paths leading through Vestec, so it is also an interesting destination for travellers “in the saddle”.

We must not forget to mention the footbridge that runs just above the surface of the pond, which is an interesting addition to a pleasant walk, whatever the season.
