Weekly market on Domplatz

With around 150 stalls, the weekly market on Domplatz is the largest in Münster. Every Wednesday and especially on Saturdays, it attracts countless visitors with its rich variety of fresh products — fruits and vegetables, fish and seafood, spices, oils and antipasti, cheeses in every flavour, honey, bread and cakes, meats, poultry, and accessories such as wicker bags. And in every season, the colourful flower stalls add their own special charm.

During Advent, the market transforms into a winter wonderland of scents and colours. You’ll find also beautiful Christmas flowers, evergreen arrangements, and handcrafted Advent wreaths, perfect for bringing a touch of the season into your home. Even when frost sparkles on the stalls and your breath turns to mist, the market stays open — and wandering among the lights, the aromas of roasted nuts and coffee, and the cheerful voices of vendors becomes a truly unforgettable experience.

You can also enjoy a quick bite — from freshly fried fish to traditional Bratwurst or fried fish Kibbeling — or simply warm up with a coffee at one of the cosy stand-up cafés in front of the St. Paulus Cathedral.
