Place description

The railway bridge Žampach is located in the village of the same name on the bank of the Sázava River, from where it is also beautifully visible. This bridge with seven arches reaches a height of almost 42 metres and is therefore almost unnoticeable in the dense forest. The bridge, which has been used by trains since 1900, can be reached along the yellow tourist trail, ideally from the Jílové u Prahy station.
