The Zvolská Homole Nature Reserve is located near Prague, basically on its border with the Central Bohemia Region near the village of Zvole. This very quiet area offers several views of the Vltava River, Vrané nad Vltavou and the nearby and still functional quarry on the outskirts of Zbraslav. The nearby Cukrák transmitter, which rises above the opposite slope, is also beautifully visible from the homole.
There are several turists trails going through Zvolská homole, including two marked tourist trails – red and yellow, the latter leading to the village of Zvole, from where the route is more or less only flat with no hills. The whole walk through the homole, including visiting the viewpoints, will take you a maximum of 2 – 3 hours.
We’ll be happy to create a personalized itinerary.
You can park for free in the nearby village of Zvole, for example at the local church (near Hlavní Street), from where a hiking trail leads directly to Zvolská homole.
