Zvíkov Bridge

The Zvíkov Bridge is not actually just one bridge. It is a pair of bridges near the village of Zvíkovské podhradí, not far from Zvíkov Castle. One bridge is over the Otava River (the one in our photos), the other is over the Vltava River. Both bridges were built at the beginning of the 1960s, using the method of the so-called fly-casting.

From the latter, i.e. the bridge over the Vltava River, bungee jumping is traditionally done, perhaps that is why this “construction” is a bit more famous.
