Český Krumlov as a picturesque town in South Bohemia is one of the most beautiful and most visited places in the country. Its historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which will enchant you with its narrow streets, Renaissance and Baroque buildings and the dominant castle and chateau.

During your visit you must not do without a tour of Česko Krumlov Castle and the castle that towers over the town. The complex is the second largest in the Czech Republic and offers a magnificent view of the town and its surroundings. Don’t forget to visit the castle park, the Baroque theatre and see the castle masks.

The historical centre of Český Krumlov is no less attractive. The streets and squares are lined with beautifully preserved buildings from various historical periods. Another interesting feature is the Egon Schiele Art Centre, a gallery and museum dedicated to this famous painter who lived in the town for some time.

The Vltava River, which flows through Český Krumlov, offers a great opportunity for paddlers. Rent a canoe or raft and enjoy an unforgettable cruise through the historic centre. This activity is especially popular in the summer months. We also recommend avoiding weekends during this period.

Český Krumlov is also a great place for food lovers. In the historic centre you will find a number of restaurants and pubs offering traditional Czech and international cuisine. Don’t forget to try local specialities such as Krumlov sausages or trdelník. In the summer months, we recommend trying the refreshing ice cream in the town centre.

The surrounding area is also full of natural beauty and historical monuments. Take a trip to the Šumava Nature Park, visit the Hluboká Chateau or take a walk through the ruins of the Dívčí Kámen Castle. The surrounding countryside offers a number of hiking trails for hikers and cyclists, which you are sure to enjoy.

Sazba 2 hod. – 50 Kč, 5 hod. – 100 Kč.
