Deer and fallow deer preserve

On the edge of the village of Horní Planá near the Lipno water reservoir, we can find a smaller, but richly “populated” fallow deer and red deer preserve. The game preserve is located just a few dozen metres from the local church of Our Lady of Sorrows and the Dobrá voda lookout tower. The preserve is freely accessible from the road, where you can also park for free.

In addition to fallow deer and red deer, there are also mouflons in the game preserve – if you are lucky like us, you will see these beautiful animals just a few meters away. From the experience of other visitors, we also know that deer and other “inhabitants” of this game preserve sometimes visit the fence, which makes their observation even easier. However, you should not feed or touch the animals.
