On the outskirts of Višňová, in the Frýdlantský výběžek (Frýdlant promontory) near the Polish border, there is a rock group called the Pohanské kameny (Pagan Stones in English). It is a set of several giant stones, which together form not only a rock formation, but also a nice viewpoint in the middle of a quiet nature. There are a few steps with railings leading up to the stones.
Although at first glance it may seem that the group is man-made, the opposite is true. However, the granite stones were used in the past as a site for pagan solstice festivals, as evidenced by a tourist sign near the site.
The easiest way to reach the stones is from a dead end street leading to the local apartment buildings. From there it is only about 400 metres of gentle climb to the site. In the surroundings it is worth mentioning, for example, the Frýdlant Castle and Chateau.
