Former Kaolin Quarry Seč

The Seč quarry is located in the Moravian Karst, near Rudice, and is one of the Kaolin quarries in the Czech Republic. There is a paid parking lot near the entrance to the quarry.

The quarry plays with all possible colours, from white to yellow, orange, brown to red or purple. There is a small lake with water downstairs, and in summer you can even swim in the quarry. We took a walk around the quarry, walking all the way down to the pond and then back up, which took us about half an hour including stops for photos. It is a very interesting place and definitely worth a visit.
