The visit to the Karlštejn Castle was a great walk and a unique trip into history. I recommend starting at the nearby lookout point, where you have the best view of the castle, and making a nice circuit from the parking lot to the castle. This circuit is perfect for a hike with both dogs and children.
The path is well marked and maintained, so it’s really for everyone. It’s best to go during the week or in the morning to avoid the crowds. Karlštejn Castle is truly a piece of history that everyone should experience. It offers a fascinating glimpse into the past and beautiful views of the surrounding area.
