Place description

Kozjak Waterfall, hidden in the heart of the Julian Alps in Slovenia, is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country. It is located near the town of Kobarid and its water falls from a height of 15 metres into a pool of clear water. The waterfall is set in a natural cave, which gives it a mystical atmosphere and makes it a popular destination for tourists and photographers.

The surroundings of the Kozjak waterfall offer a great opportunity for walks and exploring Slovenian nature. The trail to the waterfall leads over wooden bridges and through forests and is an experience in itself. The pond below the waterfall is ideal for a refreshing dip in the summer months.
