Place description
The Lhotka lookout tower near Beroun rises on the hill of the same name at an altitude of 498 m above sea level and offers magnificent views of the Bohemian Karst, the Křivoklát Forest, Brdy and even Prague. This 60-metre high steel structure serves as a telecommunications mast for T-Mobile, but at a height of 30 metres it is equipped with a viewing gallery. A spiral staircase leads to it, from which visitors can enjoy the panoramic scenery of the surrounding countryside. The lookout tower was opened in 2007 and has since become a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
Access to the lookout tower is possible along several hiking trails, for example from the village of Lhotka along the blue trail or along the green trail from Malé Přílep. The nearest parking lot is located on the road between Vráží and Lhotka, from where it is about 300 meters to the lookout tower.
