Lookout tower Světlý vrch

On the top of the 729-metre-high Světlý vrch mountain, which towers above Albrechtice in the Jizera Mountains, there is a lookout tower of the same name. The municipality had it built here to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the founding of Albrechtice. It is a 21-metre high lookout tower, partly made of steel and partly made of wood. A spiral staircase leads to the top of the tower and after climbing it, you will have a view not only of the village but also of many surrounding peaks. You will see, for example, the opposite Špičák, including its lookout tower and ski slope.

The path to the Světlý vrch lookout tower leads from Albrechtice and is a roughly 100-metre climb uphill, which is spread over a 1 km long path to the top. Just follow the green tourist sign, for example from the U Hany car park, and you can’t miss the lookout tower. When you are in this area of Albrechtice, Tanvald or Jablonec nad Nisou, we recommend visiting other lookout towers, such as Špička na Malý Špičák or Bramberk.
