Masca

Masca is a picturesque village situated among high cliffs, known for its beautiful natural scenery and one of the most beautiful hiking trails on the island. The village itself is located at an altitude of 600 metres and the road to it is narrow and winding, but brand new. Here, more than anywhere else, the journey is also the destination. This journey is likely to be one of the best of your life, and we recommend you really enjoy it. Stop where you can, the scenery is breathtaking, as are the photos you’ll take along the way.

Masca can also be reached by public transport buses, which run quite regularly, up to 9 times a day. You can get on and off in Santiago del Teide or Buenavista del Norte.

But the biggest attraction is undoubtedly the Masca Gorge, offering breathtaking views of the rocky cliffs. The beautiful drive of about 4 hours ends at a small beach near the huge Los Gigantes rock massifs, which is only accessible by foot or boat. This place is ideal for nature lovers, hiking and photography, providing a unique combination of mountain and coastal landscapes.
