Place description

Mirador de la Cruz de Hilda is a viewpoint located in the northwestern part of Tenerife, in the Buenavista del Norte area. This viewpoint offers panoramic views of the picturesque village of Masca and its impressive gorge. The surrounding landscape is characterised by terraced fields, palm trees and typical Canarian vegetation,

There is a café with a terrace right on the viewpoint, where you can enjoy not only the beautiful views but also delicious local refreshments

Mirador de la Cruz de Hilda is also a popular starting point for hiking in the Teno Mountains. One of the popular routes leads to the Risco Verde lookout point and offers breathtaking views of the Teno Massif, the Masca Valley and the Teide Peak.

The viewpoint can be accessed by car on the TF-436 road, which connects the villages of Santiago del Teide and Buenavista del Norte. The road is winding and offers many other viewpoints, making it a popular route for nature lovers and photographers.
