The Juan Évora Museum in Teide National Park is a small ethnographic museum that was originally the home of Señora Juan Évora, the last person allowed to live in the park. The museum, housed in a stone hut, displays various ethnographic objects such as agricultural tools, worn clothing and household equipment. However, its main attraction is its unique location and the natural beauty of the surroundings, offering shelter from the wind and a view of the Teide volcano. Admission is free, and while the museum itself is not a major attraction, a visit can enhance a day spent in the park.
The museum is located in a picturesque setting near the Teide volcano, far from the inhabited parts of the island. There is parking, toilets and benches on which you can have a picnic. The journey to the site is an experience in itself. It also offers a beautiful view of the towering Teide volcano. If you pass by, don’t hesitate to stop here.
We’ll be happy to create a personalized itinerary.
Daily from 9:00-15:45.
Unlimited parking directly in front of the museum.
