Place description

On the outskirts of Kamenický Šenov, in the north of Bohemia, there is a natural phenomenon called Panská skála (Mansion/Manor Rock). It is a national natural monument, which was formed by column separation of basalt during the solidification of magma. If you would like more information about this natural formation, we recommend, for example, Wikipedia.

Panská skála is a tourist destination in summer and winter, but it offers a slightly more interesting atmosphere in winter, especially with the incredible frozen lake. Panská skála is definitely worth a visit. Also worth mentioning is the information centre, which can be found at the adjacent car park.
