The town of Reine is one of the most famous fishing villages in Norway, located on the Lofoten Islands, specifically on the island of Moskenesøya. This small town is surrounded by rugged, high mountains and clear fjords, making it a popular destination for photographers and tourists from all over the world. In Reine, you can see traditional red rorbuer houses that were once used by fishermen but now often function as accommodation for visitors.
Nearby you will also find the Reinebringen, a popular hiking trail that offers breathtaking views of the entire area. For water sports enthusiasts, there is the possibility to rent kayaks and explore the surrounding waters. In the winter months you have the opportunity to watch the Northern Lights. There are also several other villages and places to explore in the area, including Å Village, where you can visit the Lofoten Museum and learn more about the history and culture of the area.
In Reine you will also find places where you can enjoy a first-class coffee. For coffee lovers, a stop at Bringen Kaffebar is a must. Located in the heart of the village, this café combines great coffee with tasty cakes and snacks.

Parking is available directly in the centre of Reine for a fee only. Prices may vary. For cars, expect a charge of NOK 100 to NOK 300 for motorhomes per 24 hours. If you are only planning to stay in the centre for a short period of time, it is also possible to purchase hourly parking in the designated car parks. If you don’t want to pay for parking at all, we recommend parking at Steffenaken, which is admittedly a 2.5 km straight shot from Reine.

Poloobloukové asfaltové parkoviště Steffenakken má kapacitu pro zhruba 15 obytných nebo osobních vozů. Během dne bývá dost frekventované, ale v noci je velmi klidné, přestože je umístěno přímo u cesty. Jeho vynikající poloha vám umožní navštívit nejen Djupfjordbrua, který se nachází hned vedle, ale je to od nej i blízko k známému Reinebringenu, nebo do městečka Reine. Navíc je tohle parkování zdarma, co v Reine nenaleznete. Oproti asfaltovému parkovišti je k dipozici odpočívadlo na nezpevnené cestě, kde můžete vůz taky parkovat. Bez veškerých služeb.
