Place description

Tiské stěny are part of the Protected Landscape Area of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and are just above the village Tisá in the Ústí nad Labem Region. It is a beautiful rock town, through which leads a fairly accessible nature trail. Tiské stěny offer great views of the rocks themselves, of which there are many, and also views of the distant surroundings.

We recommend to visit the Tiské stěny just before sunset – there will probably be fewer people and the surroundings will turn golden if you are lucky.

Good to know

Admission

There are two “official” circuits, the Small and Large Tiské stěny, and the larger one, which is less than 3 km long, costs 30 CZK per adult and 15 CZK per child. However, we visited Tiské stěny twice and neither time did we pay the entrance fee (the ticket office was closed).

Parking

Parking is available at the so-called Turistická chata (Tourist Hut), free of charge. From here, the entrance to the rocks is the fastest and basically without a climb.
