Åndalsnes is a picturesque small town surrounded by stunning fjords and majestic mountains. It is a true paradise for all nature lovers, as you have everything at your fingertips. The Romsdalsfjord beckons for boating or kayaking, while the nearby mountains lead visitors to the famous Troll Trail – Trollstigen, which is only a few kilometres away.

However, Åndalsnes itself offers much more than just natural beauty. Here you can discover cosy cafés where you can relax with a cup of coffee, and traditional Norwegian restaurants that offer authentic tastes of Scandinavia. Cyclists can explore the beautiful countryside on local cycle paths.

One of the biggest attractions of Åndalsnes is the Romsdalsgondolen cable car, which takes you up to a breathtaking viewpoint at the top. From here you will have a panoramic view of the fjord, the town and the surrounding mountains. It’s a completely unique experience, with the whole valley and fjord spread out before you in all its glory.
