Atlantic ocean road

The Atlantic Ocean Road in Norway is a masterpiece of engineering and one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Located on the west coast of Norway, it connects the towns of Molde and Kristiansund. This 8.3 km long road passes over several small islands and is connected by impressive bridges that wind over the jagged Atlantic coastline.

Driving the Atlantic Highway is an experience in itself. With every turn, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of the wild ocean and the majestic Norwegian landscape. Along the way, you may also spot wildlife, including seabirds, seals and even whales.

Storseisundet Bridge: This iconic bridge is the most famous and most photographed spot on the Atlantic Highway. From some angles, the bridge appears to end in infinity.

Askevågen: This lookout offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic ocean views and is a great place to watch sunsets.

Eldhusøya: On the island of Eldhusøya you can discover a beautiful walking trail with views of the ocean and the surrounding landscape. There is also a café where you can have a snack.
