Canal Rocks, located near Yallingup in the Margaret River region, is another of Western Australia’s natural attractions. This rock formation, shaped over thousands of years by Indian Ocean erosion, creates a system of narrow channels where seawater constantly flows and crashes.

The main attraction of Canal Rocks is a wooden footbridge that allows visitors to cross over the water channels and safely observe the power of the ocean up close. The waves hit the rocks here with stunning force, making it a fantastic photography spot, especially at sunset when the rocks turn warm shades.

Locals jump into the water from this wooden bridge, but you should leave this activity to the experienced ones who know the local waters.
