Sugarloaf Rock is one of the most photogenic natural formations in Western Australia. Located near the town of Dunsborough in the Cape Naturaliste region, it is a very popular spot among tourists.
The Sugarloaf Rock lookout offers panoramic views of the sea and dramatic rock formations. The best time to visit is at sunset, when the rock turns shades of orange and red, creating a perfect scenic picture. But even if you’re in the area outside of sunset, this place is definitely worth a stop. The lookout is just a short walk from the parking lot and is very easily accessible.
From May to December, you can also spot whales migrating along the coast.
