Hamelin Bay Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Southwest Australia, located approximately 25 kilometers south of Margaret River. This idyllic coastal destination is famous for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and fascinating marine life. The beach’s biggest attraction is the stingrays, which often come close to the shallows and curiously swim around tourists. These friendly creatures are used to people and offer a unique opportunity to observe them up close right in the water. The best time to spot them is in the morning or early afternoon when they stay near the shore in shallow water.
Of course, expect a large number of tourists, so if you want to take photos of the stingrays, you might spend more time here waiting for your turn. Thanks to its location in the Margaret River region, Hamelin Bay is a great stop while exploring local vineyards, caves, and national parks.
